Stand Lacrosse
About Us
Welcome to Stand Lacrosse
We exist to support the local clubs (NW Sharpshooter and NW Avalanche) and the local athletes that play on travel club teams. Our schedule rotates based upon the time of year to meet the needs of athletes and the teams they play on.
We want to remain accessible for new players to learn the game as well. By partnering with local clubs, we offer programming to allow kids to burn off energy when days are short and cold, all while falling in love with this incredible game.
About Us
Playing lacrosse in our neck of the woods is hard. It takes significant time and resources to pursue additional training, camps and exposure to the greater lacrosse community outside our beautiful neck of the woods. Not to mention, indoor training space (i.e a wall) is hard to come by due to such high indoor demand . Stand Lacrosse exists to bring lacrosse resources to the valley, making it accessible for all whether you are looking to put your own work in, join a training session or to have access to field space for team play. Stand is a support to the local lacrosse athlete and local lacrosse teams to pursue their training goals. For more info about our local youth lacrosse program for boys and girls 1st-8th, the NW Sharpshooters, click here. The NW Avalanche is our local High School team for both men and women. FAQ
-Do you provide gear? We do have balls, goals, cones, and other training tools available to use. Just find a Stand worker and ask to borrow what you need. There’s a super simple check out process to make sure we keep track of our gear.
-Can I rent or reserve the space for private events like birthday parties? Yes, you can! Please email standlacrosse@gmail.com to make your request.
-I’m confused, is Stand for practices or individual/small group training? Both! We offer programming for players to sign up for to work on their game in prepartion for their seasons whether that be summer or fall and winter club teams. We do this through group classes like Shake School and small side play using 3x. As we transition to the spring season while we wait for the snow to melt, we offer practice space for our local clubs. We offer Open Gym times where athletes can come use the space to work on aspects of their game they’d like to develop as well as plenty of space for wall ball.
-How do I sign up? Please see the list of classes above. Click on the program you are interested in and follow the directions.
