Welcome, UP Lacrosse families! We’re excited to kick off another great season this Spring. Registration is now open, so please read all information carefully to ensure your player is signed up and ready to hit the field. Let’s gear up for a strong season ahead!
K, 1, 2 Team
We are excited to announce that this will be our first year with a league K,1,2 program! For your information, the success of the program will be dependent on registration numbers. This team will look a little different than our other age groups, with there being a few less games and further travel due to a lack of K, 1, 2 programs in our area. If we do not have enough players to form a team, we will still hold a K, 1, 2 clinic like years past.
COST
Girls K, 1, 2 - $150 (sticks available to borrow).
Girls 3rd grade through 8th grade - $375 (uniform included)
Scholarships available please email bsingstad@upsd83.org.
Early bird discount offered for anyone who registers before January 19th, 2026 of $50.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
All players will need the following to begin the season:
- Lacrosse stick
- Protective Eye Goggles or Helmet
- Mouth guard
- Cleats
UPLC has protective gear available for ALL ages to borrow for the season with a refundable deposit. Equipment check-out will take place during Orientation Day in January. To reserve equipment, please reach out to bsingstad@upsd83.org after your registration is complete.

REGISTRATION FEE RETURN POLICY
Planning and preparation for the lacrosse season begins months in advance and involves significant costs such as equipment, field rentals, uniforms, and league registration—all based on player registration numbers.
To protect the financial sustainability of UPLC, the following refund policy applies: Refund requested before January 1: Full refund minus a $25 processing fee. Refund requested between January 1 and the first practice: Refund minus a $100 fee. No refunds will be issued after the first practice for your assigned team.
Please note: UPLC is not responsible for missed electronic refund requests. If you do not receive confirmation, follow up with a phone call to ensure your request was received.
Exceptions: In rare, extreme cases, UPLC may issue partial or full refunds at its discretion.

FAQ
- Are there any payment options? Yes for Girls 3rd grade through 8th grade, you can pay for everything in one lump sum or make 3 payments with the last payment due no later than 2/15/2026. *Note this is not auto pay you have to go in and make the payment.
- How long is the season? From Late February to Early June.
- Where is practice? To be determined, at one of our many UP schools or parks.
- When do practices begin? Last week of February.
- When do games begin? Late March.
- How many practices are held each week? Teams’ will practice 2–3 times per week.
- How many games in a season? Expect 8–10 games, on Saturday or Sunday. For our K,1, 2 team, the amount of games will be determined by how many other programs also have a K, 1, 2 program.
- Do you need volunteers? Yes, many hands make for light work! Please email: bsingstad@upsd83.org
- Does my player need a USA Lacrosse membership? Yes! A membership is $30 dollars, and helps provide insurance coverage for players and clubs. Your player’s USA Lacrosse membership number is required to complete registration. USA Lacrosse Age Verification must be complete before a player can practice.
- Do we have to live in UP and go to a UP school to participate? Yes, unless there is a hardship please contact bsingstad@upsd83.org.
