High School Boys register here. Teams may be split into Varsity and Junior Varsity based on age and skill if registration numbers allow. Winter and Pre-season practice schedules are currently displayed on our website. Equipment & Uniform Information

Sheridan Lacrosse Club is committed to providing every player with the protective equipment needed to safely participate in the sport. We strongly encourage players—especially those advancing in skill level—to purchase their own equipment when possible, particularly soft goods such as gloves, arm guards, and chest/shoulder pads. Owning your gear promotes better fit, comfort, and long-term care of equipment.

To support this goal and help replenish club equipment for future seasons, we now charge a reasonable $100 equipment rental fee for the full protective set, which includes:

• Custom Helmet
• Shoulder/Chest pad
• Arm pads
• Gloves

What is included in player dues:

• Shooting t-shirt (to keep)
• Game uniform rental
• Practice penny rental
• Gear bag rental

What players must furnish (bring their own):

• Stick
• Cleats
• Mouthguard
• Protective cup

NFHS Rules consider the Gloves, Arm Guards, Undershirt and Socks/Leggings part of the uniform and are required to match - Accordingly, we ask that you buy these products in WHITE.

➡ Important: Players who still have equipment rented from last season must pay the $100 equipment rental fee prior to March 1st to continue using club gear this season.

2026 Registration & Cost Updates

We apologize for the delay while we sorted out the bugs in the registration system and have extended our late registration cutoff by 2 weeks (now through February 15) to accommodate the inconvenience.

For players who register before February 16 and rent club equipment, your all-in cost remains unchanged at $550. (+$35 Required USAL Annual Membership)

Important change for 2026: To help ensure officials receive their game checks promptly (typically in the first week or two of the season), the Montana High School Lacrosse League (MHSLA) now requires each player to register directly on SportsEngine and pay a non-refundable $50 officials deposit. This deposit has been factored into Sheridan Lacrosse Club's dues structure this season—it directly reduces our final league officials bill by the same amount, so there's no net increase to families.

After completing your Sheridan Lacrosse Club registration (including any equipment rental), immediately visit WELCOME | MHSLA PLAYER REGISTRATION to complete your required MHSLA registration and officials deposit. This step must be done right away to secure your spot and avoid delays.

Breakdown of Costs:

• Club Dues: $400
• Equipment Rental: $100
• MHSLA Officials Deposit: $50
• USAL Annual Membership: $35 (required)
• Late Fee (after February 15): $50

We will again offer $250 Athlete Sponsorships—a great way for local businesses, grandparents, family friends, or community supporters to help cover a player's registration fees while showing their pride in our Mavericks! Sponsorship funds must be submitted by April 1, 2026, for Week 1 eligibility—no exceptions will be made.
