Welcome to the registration page for the NBYL Spring 2025 lacrosse season!  At the very bottom of this page, you will find the registration button(s) to register your player(s) for the season. 

Spring 2025 Season Plans and Details:

Practices

Starting at the end of Jan/First week of February  

Location – Weston Sports Complex ES boys teams = 3 practices a week (Sun, Tues, Thurs)
MS boys teams = 4 practices a week (Sun, Tues, Wed, Thurs)
Girl teams = 3 practices a week (Sun, Tues, Thurs)

**We know these practice times are tough and all the coaches are aware to work with families.  We just ask you to do the best you can and coordinate carpools with teammates.  We have no lights and the city and county have zero fields available to us with lights either.  We hope when Zipp Family Sports Complex opens we get some of those fields but currently this is our limiting factor.  If you know of alternative options in the area please let us know and we'll explore those options (or if you know of a rental company that will give us lights for a reasonable amount).  Coaches will offer up the chance to push practice times back after daylight savings if the majority of the team is in favor of it.

Uniforms

We are getting new uniforms this year included in registration costs.  Uniforms will be loaners but players will get a tshirt and/or pinnie to keep.  We loan out the uniforms because their use over 2-3 years helps to lower registration costs.  We do offer additional swag purchasing options.

Cost

If there are any concerns about cost or knowing more about the sport before registering please come out to one of our practices to try out lacrosse before committing.  We will never turn away somebody due to cost, all we ask is that you come to talk to us in any manner you see best and discuss it.  

What’s included and covered by the registration cost?

Shooting/practice shirt/pinnie, field rental costs, field costs (lining fields), game equipment (goals, balls, cones, etc), ref costs, insurance/liability coverage, local league costs, uniform, etc.

Gear & Equipment

Buying: Please check out our FAQs page here on our website that talks more in-depth about girls and boys lacrosse, gear needed, and other helpful info.  

Renting: We have gear to rent out but it is in short supply so please make sure you let us know during registration if this is something you are interested in.  Rental fee is $10 per item with a deposit check for the full cost of the equipment that we will hold onto until the gear is returned (in good condition) at the end of the season, when the deposit will be returned.  For boys, a full set would cost $50, for girls it would be $20, which is in addition to registration costs (but not paid via this link or at this time) and will be collected closer to the beginning of the season since we need to collect the deposit check at the same time.  Goalies get rental gear for free (but still need to submit a deposit check)

Boys equipment = helmet, gloves, elbow pads, shoulder pads, stick

Girls equipment = goggles, stick

Everyone must have a mouthpiece (girls and boys, all ages)

Boys need protective cups
