Event Overview
Welcome to Parlor City Lacrosse Academy — a year-round lacrosse development program serving players across the Greater Binghamton area.
Our Training Development Season is designed to provide players with a structured, high-quality training environment focused on improving skills, lacrosse IQ, confidence, and overall game performance. The season will consist of six one-hour training sessions (half-hour for goalies/faceoff/draw). Players will train once per week with their designated group and progress through a season-long development plan built around purposeful instruction and consistent repetition. Training sessions will take place at the Greater Binghamton Sports Complex (1500 Airport Rd, Binghamton, NY 13905). Each session will consist of structured skills and drills training focused on fundamental development, game-focused concepts, position-specific instruction, and competitive small-group activities. Sessions are designed to maximize repetitions, coaching interaction, and individual feedback while maintaining a positive, energetic, and challenging environment. Training will follow limited-contact guidelines focused on player safety and development and will be organized by age, experience level, and position when possible.
For our inaugural summer season, we are inviting boys and girls players entering 6th grade and above. Training opportunities are available for offensive players, defensive players, goalies, and specialists depending on registration numbers. Youth academy programming for younger age groups is planned for future seasons!
Required equipment for boys includes a helmet, gloves, stick, cleats, and mouthguard. Girls are required to bring a stick, cleats, and mouthguard, with goggles recommended for participation. Goalies must wear full protective equipment. All participants must maintain an active USA Lacrosse membership and be registered for the appropriate training group prior to participation.
For new USA Lacrosse members, "Age Verification" will need to be complete before registering (one time for your entire career). This is done in your account under "my household users". Select the player account, click the pencil box icon to edit their account and scroll down to "Age Verification - edit age verification". Submit one of the documents (birth certificate, passport, or driver's license) listed and then USA Lacrosse will quickly approve the verification during business hours
All participants and families are required review the Parlor City Lacrosse Academy Waiver and Release of Liability Agreement prior to registration. Formal acknowledgment and acceptance of the waiver and media release will be required during the registration process.
Space is limited to maintain a high-quality training environment and maximize player development opportunities.
