OCLA 2026 Winter and Spring - Player Registration

PLAYERS:  All players need to be registered with your local team and OCLA prior to participating with the league. 

Coaches: All ADULT coaches must be registered with OCLA. 

• Coaches must be registered as a "COACH" in their USA Lacrosse Profile

Minor Coaches: All current high school players who are coaching or assisting must be registered in the OCLA

• Minor coaches can be registered as a "PLAYER" in their USA Lacrosse Profile

 

PLAYER/COACHES FEE'S for OCLA REGISTRATION

Please note the following:

1. There is no cost to register for the OCLA

2. YOU MAY be charged a fee by USA Lacrosse IF your registration expires prior to 5/31/25

What causes the charge?

1. The "season end date" for the OCLA is set to 5/31/25.  This is so that winter players / coaches don't have to re register for spring.  

2. If your child's USA Lacrosse membership expires before 5/31/2025, there will be a charge to renew their membership for $35 and it will add 12 months to the expiration date.

3. A full year of USA Lacrosse membership will be gained in this scenario.  

Why is the OCLA set up this way?

1. As a USA Lacrosse league, OCLA requires USA Lacrosse Membership

2. By using the USA Lacrosse registration system players may directly renew their USA Lacrosse membership if they are not current through the season end date.  

3. Had OCLA used a different registration system and set up a $0 registration, all players would still have had to go into USA Lacrosse and renew/check memberships.

4. By using the USA Lacrosse registration system, OCLA players don't have to leave the registration process to renew their membership if it isn't current.
