Henry Youth Lacrosse will offer Fall Lacrosse for Elementary School Boys in grades 2nd-5th (as of the 2025-26 school year). Players will be grouped by grade based on registration numbers, but teams are typically 2nd-3rd and 4th-5th.

Teams practice two nights per week at East Lake Elementary - typically Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Practices will start the week of August 18, 2025.

Teams will play against other teams from around the Metro Atlanta area. Travel to games will be required, but we also work to schedule some home games whenever possible. Games are typically Saturday mornings, though could be Saturday or Sunday afternoon (depending on opponent, field and officials availability). We self-schedule games in the Fall and typically start games in early September. There will be no mandatory practices or games during Fall Break or other official holidays. 

No experience is required - beginners are always welcome. All players get equal playing time (HYL is a recreational program).

Equipment
Players will need boys lacrosse equipment. Coaches will review options with you at the first practice. We typically have some used and/or discounted equipment available to help reduce costs for parents. Otherwise, we will recommend the best/lowest-cost options as an alternative. USA Lacrosse Membership
All Players and Coaches are required to be USA Lacrosse Members for insurance purposes. The annual cost for USA Lacrosse Memberships is $35 (you only need to pay this fee once per calendar year). You will have the option to purchase or renew your player's Membership during the registration process. 

Early Registration Discount:
Registration is open. A $30 discount is automatically applied for all registrations received BEFORE August 1, 2025. Register BEFORE August 1, 2025 to take advantage of the Early Registration Discount (no discounts will be issued after this date).

Late Registration Penalty:
Registration officially closes on August 15, 2025. We will allow late registrations through September 1, 2025. Registrations received AFTER August 15, 2025 are considered LATE. A $20 Late Registration Penalty will be automatically added to registrations after this date.

Uniforms
Uniforms are not included in registration. We use the same uniforms each season - existing players with uniforms that still fit do NOT need to purchase new uniforms. New players will need to purchase uniforms. The boys uniform cost is $75 and includes a reversible jersey, shooting shirt (worn under pads) and shorts. Uniform fees are not due until uniforms arrive - typically 3 weeks after practice starts. New players also receive a free, reversible practice jersey.

Refund Policy
Please refer to the following dates regarding Registration Refunds:

• Cancel BEFORE August 1st: 100% refund
• Cancel BETWEEN August 1st and August 15th: 50% refund
• No refunds will be issued after August 15th. 
• Uniform fees will be deducted from any refund once the uniform order has been placed (August 18th).

NOTE: Roster spots are limited. Please register at your earliest convenience to ensure your player will have an opportunity to play with us this fall.
