Event Overview
The Colonels Youth Lacrosse New Player Clinic is designed to introduce the game of lacrosse to young athletes in grades 3-8. It consists of four 1-hour sessions every Sunday in October. In the first two weeks, players will learn how to throw, catch, cradle, scoop, and shoot the ball, and will put those skills into action in drills. in the last two weeks, players will continue working on their skills and play two games of Sixes-style lacrosse with modified rules.
All sesssions take place in the Covington Catholic High School Fieldhouse.
Players will be grouped by grade level, and assigned to one of two time slots.
The sessions will take place on the following dates and within the following times:
Participants should wear comfortable athletic clothes (shorts / t-shirts) and cleats or turf shoes (however, gym shoes are acceptable). Shoes MUST be free of mud.
Players should bring water.

Cost: $43.00 (includes 6% Kentucky state sales tax)
