Youth Grades 3rd-6th
Welcome to Noble Youth Lacrosse, where young athletes in grades 3 through 6 have the chance to develop their skills, work as a team, and have fun playing lacrosse! Our league offers separate teams for boys and girls with players grouped into two age brackets: 3rd & 4th graders and 5th & 6th graders. The program is designed to provide both a competitive and supportive environment, with a focus on skill-building, sportsmanship, and having fun.
Program Overview
Our goal is to create a safe and engaging space for kids to learn the game of lacrosse and develop their athletic abilities at age-appropriate levels. Both boys' and girls' teams will practice and play separately, but each team will consist of mixed age groups:
-
3rd & 4th Graders: Players will practice and play together as a team.
-
5th & 6th Graders: Players in these grades will form a second team.
*6th graders may also sign up to play with their middle school teams directly with the school, however they are practice players only and will not play games.

Why Do I Need to Pay for Insurance?
All players are required to have an active USA Lacrosse Membership to participate in the league. This membership provides:
-
Insurance Coverage: USA Lacrosse provides essential liability insurance for players, coaches, and teams.

Benefits: In addition to insurance, membership includes discounts on lacrosse gear, access to training resources, and more.
The $35 USA Lacrosse membership is required annually and is part of the registration check out process.
What is the Lacrosse Season?
The primary lacrosse season is in spring. However, there are year-round lacrosse opportunities available through other club teams. Noble Youth Lacrosse also offers summer sessions and special clinics to keep players engaged and improving outside the traditional spring season.
What is the Difference Between Boys' and Girls' Lacrosse?
There are key differences in the rules and regulations for boys' and girls' lacrosse, with one of the main distinctions being physical contact:
-
Girls' Lacrosse: No body checking is allowed. Protective goggles are required, and helmets are optional.
-
Boys' Lacrosse: Physical contact is allowed at different ages, including body checking. Players must wear more protective equipment, including a helmet, gloves, and pads.
