When registering, you will also need to purchase a USA Lacrosse membership for your son or daughter.  This membership costs $35 and will be added to the season fees when completing the registration process.

The boys' and girls' spring season runs from the first week of March through early-mid May.

Do I need to have an active USA Lacrosse Membership?
Yes. The USA Lacrosse Membership provides insurance for the league. You only need to purchase this once a year (so if you purchase this spring, it will still be good for the fall season). You will be prompted to sign up for a USA Lacrosse Membership (if you don't already have one) when you complete your fall ball registration. 

Do you need coaches?
We are always looking for volunteer coaches. If you're interested in helping out, please respond to this email and let me know.

Are there games?
Yes! There will be games for all age groups except the 3-5 year olds. Games take place on Saturday mornings. We usually host two weekends out of the season. Whenever we travel, we play at least two games.

What if I have never played before?
All experience levels are welcome. 

What do I need to know about the 3-5-year-old age group?
This is our first year offering a spring season for this age group and it's open to BOTH girls and boys. You don't need any equipment. We will be playing with foam lacrosse sticks that the coaches will make available at practice. This age group will only practice ONCE per week for 45 minutes. This age group usually requires more parent involvement.

May I borrow equipment?
Yes. Please complete this form if you need to borrow equipment. Remember, players must provide their own mouth guards and protective cups. Important: The 3-5 year old age group requires no equipment so do not complete the form if you're a part of that age group (we will be using foam lacrosse sticks that will be available at practice). 

Is registration still open?
YES! Please register if you plan on playing and please spread the word about the fall season.

What age groups do you have?
Lexington Lacrosse (LexLax) is a nonprofit organization intended to promote the game of lacrosse in our community of Lexington, Va. The program supports teams in 14U, 11U and 9U for girls and 14U, 12U, 10U and 8U for boys. We are also running a co-ed 6U team that practices once per week. Our registration includes a loan of free equipment for any child that requires it – including a stick. Equipment must be returned following the season.
