*Scoopers is mostly a learning team. We have wonderful and patient coaches that work with your children to teach them the basics of lacrosse. They meet two nights during the week- no weekends. After they learn some basics of the game, the children are divided into teams among themselves to scrimmage and play. They do not play competitively at this age. Being a Scooper is the best “first step” to learning lacrosse. We would love to have your child join us and play. It’s a great way to learn lacrosse.
Pricing Structure
Scoopers: $50**8U-14U: $50**
**Please note that your child must have a USA Lacrosse membership in order to play. This cost is in addition to the Honkers Lacrosse prices shown above. You will be able to register with USA Lacrosse (or renew membership) during the registration process.

Equipment Required to Play
Girls: Lacrosse stick, mouth guard, eye goggles, and cleats
• USA Lacrosse guidelines state that at the Youth level, the eyewear worn on the field must be SEI certified and listed on the SEI site and must have the SEI mark of certification. SEI Website

***Loaner Boys and Girls sticks are available for first time Scoopers and 8U players in need with limited availability. Please email us if you need a loaner stick.***
Loaner Equipment (BOYS)
• Limited BOYS’ loaner equipment is available.
• This includes: helmet, shoulder pads, gloves and arm pads.

Uniforms
Uniform jerseys will be provided for players as part of the registration fee. Jerseys will be collected at the end of the season for future use. Players are responsible for buying their own shorts and/or skorts/kilts to wear with the uniform. Players are also welcome to wear any shorts or skorts/kilts that they feel comfortable with. You are not required to buy the shorts/kilts from the online store.A $100 replacement fee will be charged to your credit card on file if your child’s jersey and/or equipment are not returned on the requested date.
Practices
8U-14U BOYS/GIRLS:
• Practice is scheduled to begin on March 3, 2025.
• All practices will be held Mondays and Wednesdays 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.

ESYLA Season (U8-U14)
Games begin in the beginning of March and run thru the middle of May.
