Spring 2025 Season Information
If you're new to Kennebunk Youth Lacrosse, the following details will answer many of your questions. We understand this is a lot of information, but we want to ensure you have all the facts. Please feel free to reach out to us at Kennebunklacrosseclub@gmail.com with any inquiries.
Registration:
For the 2025 season:
-
Grades 3-6: Registration fee is $165.
-
Grades 1-2: No registration fee, thanks to a generous donation from the Tommy McNamara Foundation.
US Lacrosse Membership:
All players must have a US Lacrosse Membership for insurance purposes. During registration, you can obtain or renew your child’s membership. The membership must be valid through the 2025 season.
US Lacrosse membership also provides access to a wealth of lacrosse-related resources and includes a monthly subscription to Lacrosse Magazine.
Coaches:
All Kennebunk Youth Lacrosse coaches are trained and certified by US Lacrosse.
Teams:
Players are assigned to teams based on their school grade (as of the 2024-2025 school year). We are a recreational program that plays under Maine Youth Lacrosse (MYL). MYL philosophy encourages equal playing time. There are no “A” and “B” teams, nor standings or playoffs at any MYL level.
There may be opportunities for tournament-style events where coaches can elect to form “A” and “B” teams. Coaches will communicate with families in advance about this.
