Refund & Cancellation Policy

Registration closes on Monday, September 8, 2025.

In the event a registered team or individual (“Registrant”) withdraws their registration:

  • before August 1, 2025, a full refund, minus any service fees, will be offered;
  • on or after August 1, 2025 and on or before September 8, 2025, a 60% refund will be offered;
  • after September 8, 2025, the tournament fee will be forfeit.

In the event that Central Texas Women’s Lacrosse Officials Organization (“CTWLOO”) cancels the ATX 2025 Zebra Open Girls’ Lacrosse Tournament (“Event”) prior to the day of the Event, Sunday, October 5, 2025, all Registrants will be offered a full refund, minus any service fees.

Registrants are expected to register for one of the 5 specified divisions—High School D1 or Varsity, High School D2 or JV, U14, U12, U10. If there are an insufficient number of Registrants for a division after registration closes on Monday, September 8, 2025, all Registrants of the affected division will be given the option of receiving a refund or playing under another division.

Individual registrants will be placed on a team with other individual registrants at the Registrants selected division level. If there is an insufficient number of individual registrants to form a team at the selected division level, the Registrant will be offered a full refund, minus any service fees, as well as alternate registration options, such as joining a registered team or playing under another division.

In the event that CTWLOO is forced to cancel all or part of the Event on the day of the Event, Sunday, October 5, 2025, Registrants will be offered a prorated refund based on the number of games completed according to the outline below:

  • high school division Registrants who:
  • complete 0 games will be offered a 60% refund
  • complete 1 game will be offered a 40% refund
  • complete 2 games will be offered a 20% refund
  • complete 3 games will not be offered a refund
  • youth division Registrants who:
  • complete 0 games will be offered a 60% refund
  • complete 1 game will be offered a 30% refund
  • complete 2 games will not be offered a refund

Once a game has started, it is considered “complete” for purposes of the refund policy. CTWLOO reserves the right to adjust game times or shorten games if it deems it to be in the best interest of all Registrants involved to complete as many games as possible.

Severe Weather Information

For the safety of all Registrants, CTWLOO and by default the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex staff reserve the right to cancel, delay or interrupt play until weather clears and is deemed safe. Per NFHS Rules, play will be stopped for at least 30 minutes following the sight or sound of a lightning strike or thunder.

In the event of severe weather, players, coaches, officials and spectators should retreat to their vehicles. Refrain from waiting under pop-up tents and trees. CTWLOO can not guarantee indoor shelter for all event participants and spectators. Therefore, all attendees must have access to a parked vehicle during the event. During a delay, vacate the fields and remain in vehicles until the weather is safe.

All games are scheduled to take place on turf fields. CTWLOO does not anticipate games to be canceled or delayed for rain that is not accompanied by any other severe weather factors such as lightening, thunder, or extreme wind speeds.
