Practices and games may be cancelled due to severe or inclement weather, or field condition. If possible, Cancellations will be posted on the website Hudslax.com, emailed and texted to addresses and cell phone numbers supplied during the registration process. Game cancellations may be made in cooperation with opposing team’s coaches and game officials, and may be made before or at game time. In the event of a tornado watch or warning issued for Ottawa County during our practice or game time, practices and games are automatically cancelled. If a tornado warning is issued, or a severe thunderstorm or visible lightning occurs during a game or practice, players will take shelter at Riley Middle or with their parents if parents are on premises. Practice cancellations: Practice cancellation decisions will be made by the head coaches and board member using the following guidelines: If severe storms are forecasted and expected to hit our fields during our practice times, the practice for all teams may be cancelled in advance by decision of the youth director and head coach. In the event of rain, team practices will be cancelled, unless it is a light rain and not expected to become worse.
