Pope Junior Greyhound Lacrosse is volunteer run youth lacrosse program dedicated to teaching and promoting the game of lacrosse to players of all skill levels. We pride ourselves in providing a safe environment for our players, coaches and parents.

FREE Try Lax Event!
Pope Jr. Greyhound Lacrosse is hosting a FREE TryLax Day for boys and girls in grades K-8 on August 9th from 10:00 to 11:30 AM at Hightower Middle School. This no-pressure event allows young athletes to explore lacrosse without equipment or commitment. Discover what makes this exciting sport great for players of all skill levels. REGISTER HERE.
Volunteering
Pope Jr Greyhound Lacrosse is 100% volunteer driven. Volunteers are always needed and this season we are asking every family to support the organization beyond the typical game day duties. During registration, each family is being asked to choose 2 volunteer opportunities this season.
As a team parent, you will be responsible for helping relieve the coaches of several admin duties so they can focus on developing the players and encouraging the love of lacrosse.
As part of the Field Maintenance team, you will help prepare the fields for our players to play.
As a Partner in Education at Tritt Elementary, Shallowford Falls Elementary, and Hightower Trail Middle Schools, Pope Jr Greyhound Lacrosse dedicates time to beautify the school campuses.
USA Lacrosse
We support leagues and programs that keep the game safer, fair and fun. Our aim is simple. We deliver resources to the lacrosse community that creates the best atmosphere for players of all ages, backgrounds, sizes and skill levels to thrive. From coach and official education to safety research to showcasing the sport’s best players with our national teams, USA Lacrosse works with the community to provide leadership in all key aspects of the sport.
