Our mission
 

The mission of Wichita Youth Lacrosse Association is to promote the great game of lacrosse to K-12 girls and boys throughout the Wichita metro area. We are dedicated to teaching teamwork, positive self-esteem, sportsmanship, respect for others, personal responsibility, and perseverance, helping each child grow not only as lacrosse players but also as exceptional members of our community.

While we aspire to win—an inherent part of competition—all directors, coaches, and members will prioritize the development of character and life skills above the attainment of athletic skill or game victories.

Guided by grit, integrity, and passion, we strive to honor Wichita’s rich history while fostering a love for the game and building a foundation for success as students, athletes, and leaders in the community.
