Protective Equipment
Lacrosse is a contact sport, so it's important that all of our players wear the required protective equipment. This includes an approved lacrosse helmet, shoulder pads, elbow/arm pads, and gloves. These items can be purchased at a variety of retailers or rented from the CD East Jr Lacrosse. In addition, players must also wear an athletic cup and a mouthguard. The club does not provide these items, but they can be purchased locally at sporting goods stores such as Dick's Sporting Goods.
Lacrosse Sticks
Lacrosse sticks are also a crucial part of the and a fun way to personalize the equipment you use. Lacrosse sticks come in a variety of designs and the length of the stick varies based on the age group and the position you play. Most will use an Attack/Midfield length stick with a regular top (or head) with a mesh stringing to create the pocket. CD East Jr Lacrosse
Need Equipment?
CD East Jr Lacrosse has equipment for all size players available to rent when your player starts the season. In many cases, the equipment rental fee is refunded in full or partial amounts once the equipment is returned in good condition. If you choose to rent equipment from our club, a coach will help fit your player in the appropriate sized equipment to ensure they stay safe while playing lacrosse.
